Hanna Wilson
was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. This means she is confined
to a wheelchair and has a number of complex medical issues to consider.
She grew up

become very independent. She was taught to “go for it” and that there were
no limits to what she could achieve. As a result she enjoyed sport and
initially competed in swimming competitions which saw her compete in both
She was
unsure which direction she wanted to take with respect to a career and
completed courses in Call Centre work, Childcare and Health and Beauty.
As time went
on she also took an active interest in health and fitness, and
participated in a programme called “Wheels in Motion” at the Spina Bifida
Association. This lesson was facilitated by Healthy Living Fitness. As a
result of her passion
and strong abilities in the fitness area, she was
awarded a $7000 scholarship to learn to become a fitness instructor.
This was a dream come true for Hanna and she worked hard at the course and was successful in attaining her qualifications.
Since then
she has been assisting the homeless and those that
are unable to afford a
fitness instructor and yet are most needy. She has a big heart and a
passion for helping others and is looking forward to motivating and
assisting others in the pursuit of their fitness goals and dreams.
